RECEPTIONS HELD FOR FATHER GENE AND SISTER MARY

 

A reception followed the June 21st 5:00 pm Mass in the Father Casey center.  Receptions also followed the 8 am and 10 am Masses on June 22nd. Parishioners gathered after the Masses to wish Father Gene and Sister Mary farewell.

Over 300 people attended a Retirement Party at the Officers’ Club on June 29th …Friends, relatives, parishioners, old classmates, local dignitaries, former students, former teachers, former St. Lucy staff members - all came to celebrate the two retirees.  Those attending were treated to a musical tribute (or was it a roast?), photos and stories chronocling their lives from infancy through the seminary and the convent to the present day.
