Baptism Preparation This program is designed to help prepare parents and sponsors for a child’s first sacrament. Facilitated by St. Lucy parishioners, the class is held on the first Tuesday of even-numbered months. During the class, participants discuss the meaning and history of baptism, as well as their own personal experiences and spiritual growth. In addition, participants review the symbols of baptism along with the specific steps in administering this sacrament of initiation.
